The WPS1100 launched at Drupa 2000, and provides an affordabe means to the latest advancements in window patching for start-up operations. the Heiber + Schroder WPS1100 provides two-lane, three around production with maximum mechanical speed of 55,000 per hour.
This new machine offers a timing belt drive for dependable registration. A timed vacuum bump feeder provides smooth and consistent delivery of blanks with independently adjusted alloy-casted lifters, to accommodate variable lane belt wear for effortless feeding at maximum speeds. Each transport chain can be adjusted up to 360° for proper contol of odd-shaped or challenging blank designs. The steel doctor-blade glue-application roller reduces the risk of glue corrosion as noted on machines with bronze application rollers. A unique jam detection system eliminates blanks adhering to the stencil cylinder. The nicel-plated vacuum cylinder and anti-static bar system reduce premature wearing and static risk, typically associated with synthetic vacuum cylinders. The new Heiber + Schroder WPS1100 includes a touch screen computer for ease of set-up and production summaries.
